If you need a job and are willing to get paid $12 an hour for doing three people's job, then this is the place for you.

The amount of workload they give to a single reporter is ridiculous. I had to produce an entire weekly paper entirely on my own. Literally 5-10 articles with at least two interviews each, on top of covering the event. Not only that, they fired all of the photographers. So you have to do the reporting, take the photographs, and go to other events just to photograph. I never accepted the job as a photographer but they expected me to do that job as well. Halfway into my year they also said we would have to shoot, edit and create videos for the website. This is a third person's job. To put a cherry on top, I was given another local newspaper to run on a weekly basis. Even better, the promised review/$1 raise was never given to me throughout my entire year. The amount of work I did for these people seriously is a four to five person job and I got paid $12 an hour to do that. The new management only cares about making money and paying their reporters less than what bus drivers earn. I've never felt more ripped off in my entire life.
