Training is a push them through lets get on the floor and go go go! It's such a brief review of it all you are lost for quite some time. You are trained bare basics. Not the trainers fault. Whomever set the agenda. The supervisors are metrics driven drivers and its shoved down your throat constantly. That's okay, it's a call center. The con part is you start making well on the metrics and your metrics are good this week but we wanna see you off the phone a little quicker. Thanks! The next week, your talk time is good but we wanna focus more on quality in your calls. Grrrr ok! Following week, things are looking good agent. You are passing all metrics but it seems you aren't talking long enough now. "Bangs head on desk." It's a vicious cycle that will drive you mad. The hours are great if you like the shift you are on. I have yet to find a way to easily get switched between day and night. Night time will take you no doubt. Good luck getting on day. The advancement doesn't seem to take you anywhere.
