Health benefits , 401 k, no weekend work, pension, yearly bonuses, you can build some good friendships, that's about it.

DO NOT TAKE JOB OFFER. Micro management, traffic is horrible, elevators in the Ravinia building take 5 mins just to pick you up so that takes time away from your 15 min break or 45 min lunch , PTO must be earned before you can use it. You don't earn much so you'll end up taking unpaid vacation time if you haven't earned enough, the Ravinia building is overcrowded so the parking decks become full and blocked off. Then you have to go park at Perimeter Mall, which lengthens your commute time since you then have to wait on a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the Ravinia building, recruiters lie to you and tell you that you will be a production underwriter service assistant but you end up in the contact center which is like a call center answering phones from agents that talk to you any kind of way, typical call center environment, pay is extremely below national average, the culture and environment is full of unfriendly staff and managers that indirectly insult your intelligence, usual politics are present as well.

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
