Vantaggi

It is a job that pays better than retail and has fair benefits. They do offer five days of sick leave that are in addition to your regular PTO days accumulated. In addition, they give you one celebration day that is also in addition to your PTO hours.

Svantaggi

I’ve been with the company for nearly 6 years and have watched it progressively decline. The level of micromanaging has become overwhelming, and the ever growing list of lofty, unrealistic metrics is burning people out across all levels. Leadership feels completely disconnected from the day to day realities employees face. I have several friends in leadership roles who are under immense pressure, and many of them are seriously considering stepping down or leaving altogether. The turnover rate has skyrocketed, which speaks volumes about the current environment. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this company at this point. There are better, healthier options. Also, one other thing to mention about the benefits piece. They no longer offer a pension!

Vantaggi

Great benefits. Work culture is positive, middle management is generally very employee friendly.

Svantaggi

Executives seem to be less focused on overall employee satisfaction each year.

Vantaggi

(At the time) Fair pay and predictable bonus structure They were pretty good at covering travel expenses and paying them back quickly Diverse workforce & diversity initiatives Fun and funny coworkers Opportunities for growth Again, this was all four years ago and has likely changed

Svantaggi

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
