Stax is a sexist, toxic place. There are no women in leadership because women are not respected in the office the same way men are. The only women in leadership roles are in HR and support functions. It is important to ask for that clarification in your interview because leadership may tell you there are women in leadership, when in reality, there are NO female consulting directors. Taking credit for other people's work/ideas and placing blame on innocent parties are common practices among managers and directors.
There are minimal if any growth opportunities at Stax. Even if there were growth opportunities, most associates get burnt out after a year or two and leave. Turnover is extremely high due to super long hours and unreasonable expectations. Do not expect to ever work from home or leave before 8pm, on a good night. Do not try to make any plans after work Monday-Friday, you will not be able to keep them. Management will work from home whenever they need to though and not let you know beforehand. They communicate when it's convenient for them and will not go out of their way to make themselves available for work or development concerns.
Complaints and concerns were brought to HR on multiple occasions, however they were never raised up and management continued to get away with poor behavior.
As other reviews mentioned, positive reviews were written with pressure from management. If you have to ask for a positive review to bury the truth in all the negative reviews, you don't deserve one.
My advice to women and anybody who desires a constructive and respectful work environment - do not work here.
