Employee engagement, recognition, and DEI efforts are valued here. People are treated like people and not just a number. Flexibility and work from home is great. They make sure you have everything to do your work from home. Everyone is approachable and willing to help. Compensation, bonuses, Benefits and vacation and sick are great here too! Even hourly employees get bonuses which is awesome and annual step increases too. They take covid seriously and encourage vaccinations. I feel safe coming to work.

Lots of people you need to connect with to get things done sometimes, but its doable. Navigating through the matrix and org charts is challenging, lots of levels and dotted lines to find the right person to talk to. Getting used to using shared services myHR to get things done when i used to be abke to just do it myself. Onboarding could be better.

Sports Medicine has unfortunately changed from a dynamic and collaborative group to one being led by toxic leadership. Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
