Vantaggi

Friendly coworkers. Great WFH and in-office balance. Nice office, great location and well-stocked. Good company events/bonding activities. Hands-on learning, a great place to try new things and develop new skills. Opportunities to work directly with very successful and prestige talent/brands.

Svantaggi

As echoed here previously-- lower-than-average pay and not a lot of opportunity to move up unless you're favored by upper management. Some of your coworkers-- with the same title and responsibilities as you-- can make significantly more money with no clear reasoning from management, and no attempt to correct disparities in wages. No matter how much good work you do, or how much revenue you bring in, the opportunities for raises are extremely limited. You will not be directly rewarded for the value you bring to the company. There's a decent chance you'll work with content and creators that challenge your morals and beliefs. You'll consume a lot of media that could negatively affect your mental health. If you are successful in a role, your workload will increase exponentially until you can't keep up and burn out. Management is polite, but can be evasive and indirect when confronted if they can't give you the answer you'd like to hear. Some managers can behave unprofessionally-- airing frustrations with other members of your team to you and creating tense situations. As a woman in this company, I experienced covert sexism from higher-ups. Being cut-off and talked over excessively, inappropriate comments about my style and appearance, less praise for high-quality work than male counterparts and not being taken seriously when I attempted to negotiate my contract or move up in the company.

Vantaggi

This was honestly one of the best experiences, if not the best, that I have had in my college years. I learned so much and was able to really feel a solid contribution to the team I was working on. There wasn't one employee that you passed by who wasn't friendly and kind. The company camaraderie was really strong, and I think it is a huge contributor to the success the company and separate teams are able to achieve. The intern program was very structured and gave us all a chance to get to know each other and other staff members, and learn from staff members in weekly intern seminars. I also appreciated being able to sit in on team and company meetings, it really helped myself and other interns to feel like we were integrated into the company. The environment felt low-pressure in the sense that I had time to complete projects accurately, and I always felt comfortable asking for help/guidance as well as reaching out to staff on other teams to hear more about what they do. They have a high return rate of interns who end up working full-time, which says a lot about the history of the intern program and the company overall. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get their foot in the door in the digital media, pr, content distribution, and/or multi-platform services space. Another bonus is that they cover parking fees!

Really can't think of any.

Vantaggi

- Talented, supportive colleagues doing their best in spite of leadership decisions - Fast-paced environment with opportunities to take on responsibility

Svantaggi

- For months leading up to the Fixated acquisition of Studio71, leadership (manager, department head, and CEO) provided repeated, specific assurances that my team would not be impacted - Those assurances went beyond general optimism—they included discussions of raises, expanded resources, and even direct input on future initiatives - None of those commitments materialized; instead, layoffs directly contradicted months of messaging - Communication during the transition felt less like uncertainty and more like overconfidence that proved unfounded - Compensation was significantly below market for comparable roles, with little transparency or meaningful adjustment - Rigid hybrid work policy that lacked flexibility and didn’t reflect the realities of the role or broader industry standards - Overall disconnect between leadership messaging and employee experience led to a loss of trust
