Bad pay, bad management, bad schedules. Positions were given based on age, not experience. If you were younger, you were immediately evening shift. Older people were given days even if they had no retail experience. The company is extremely cheap and will still sell items they know are broken, heavily leaning on the no return policy. The bags they use are used bags that customers bring it. One day I went through the bags and threw away any that had holes, food crumbs, or liquid from groceries in them. Management got mad about it and said to use them anyways. They had pallets of brand new bags in the storage area but said they were "too expensive to use". The store had a problem with rats but instead of calling an exterminator, they hung up signs saying no food was allowed.
