Conversations can be intense at times, and yes, people occasionally curse. That’s not because we want people to be disrespectful—it’s because we’re a group of passionate people working through hard problems together in a relatively informal environment. What matters to us is not whether every conversation is perfectly polished, but whether people are treated fairly, can challenge ideas openly, and have the freedom to make decisions without unnecessary hierarchy. We expect disagreement and debate, and we believe good ideas can come from anywhere in the company. That said, there’s a difference between being direct and being disrespectful. If someone felt uncomfortable speaking up or felt marginalized, that’s feedback worth reflecting on. Building a great culture is something we’re constantly working on as we grow. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best.
