The schedules are pretty flexible. A lot of walk ins so you get clients. They gave me training for some cuts I didn't really know before which was good. Pretty drama free considering it is a salon. The clients tip pretty good once they know you. It's busy

First thing first there's a crazy amount of turnover here. Even though schedules are fairly flexible they can often change because of the amount of employees that come and go in this salon. There were multiple occasions where I had to work alone because there was nobody else to cover the shift. Not to mention YOU run the show! Meaning you have run and answer the phone, check clients in as they come, answer questions that someone might have, sweep & clean your station in between clients.When there's a rush of people it's a little bit of a mad house especially when you're by yourself. I suspect it always will be considering I don't think this place will ever be able to keep staff. I worked here for 6 months and there was about 15( maybe even more who knows) employees that came & went within that span of time. No set breaks Not much education Here quantity rules over quality Outdated computer systems Long hours So unless you want to work for a pompous know it all who won't listen to your frustrations at a tacky, coupon giving, still uses written check-in slips and color formulation cards, do 20 haircuts in a day "so you can make some real money", *owner cares more about a few bucks than his employees* place then I would NOT recommend this salon.
