Rather than engaging in constructive dialogue, he tends to dismiss or tear down ideas and individuals in a way that’s demoralizing — not by yelling, but through cutting remarks that leave little room for discussion or growth. - This top-down behavior sets the tone for the rest of the organization, resulting in a culture that normalizes rudeness over respect or encouragement. - There is little to no emphasis on employee satisfaction; leadership has openly expressed that happiness at work is not a priority. - New hires are often brought on with little transparency, even for roles that are already being performed by existing team members. These changes are presented without explanation, creating confusion and friction. - The CEO rarely interacts with employees outside his inner circle — even basic greetings in the hallway are uncommon. - Leadership seems to equate a lack of resignations with employee satisfaction, ignoring the broader context of a tough job market and financial pressures keeping people in their roles. - Compensation for non-executive roles appears to be below market average, yet the company continues to expect top-tier talent without offering competitive pay or benefits.

Leadership is an embarrassment. The CTO and CEO are completely out of their depth — unqualified, ego-driven, and disconnected from reality. The only competent person in a senior role is the head of operations (one of the original founders), which says everything you need to know about the hired leadership.

Good product and good engineers. Many people work very hard and want company to succeed. Customers seem happy with product. Fast growing company with interesting market. You can learn a lot very fast.

Company is very top heavy. Many leaders and managers, not enough people doing the actual work. Culture is very much top-down. Decisions come from the top and can change very fast. Sometimes it feels like people closest to customers or projects are not listened to. I saw leaders discussing employees and performance without including managers who worked with those employees every day. This creates frustration and makes review process feel unfair. Some executives can be very aggressive in communication. There is not enough focus on coaching people. Fear is used more often than support. There are leaders managing large teams without much experience leading organizations at this size. This creates confusion, changing priorities, and unnecessary turnover. Layoffs happened recently while company was still adding management positions. This was difficult for many employees to understand and created concerns about planning and priorities. I also witnessed leaders making negative comments about employees behind closed doors and C Levels discussing employees with peers. This damages trust and creates an unhealthy culture. Watch for fake metrics designed to make everyone feel better but mostly politic theatre.
