For the right people, the opportunities are / were truly some of the best in the world. Although my exit on disability was very complicated and challenging, Swiss Re ultimately maintained professionalism and honest communication in a claims process that is not always so "clean".

To get the best work people have to fit the Swiss Globalist mold. If you're not a good fit, you will not feel appreciated in most locations. Rather than lead corporately in the fight against employees and benefits, Swiss Re has joined with other peers in "managing costs over time" - meaning slowly eroding pay and benefits. Being part of the global finance industry requires playing by industry rules.
