As soon as I stared to work, it took me almost 2 weeks to reach my line manager by myself first because the line manager hadn’t known I was employed . Processes are not defined: today you’re told to do it this way, tomorrow - that way. IT support works incredibly bad. No company system that works without bugs or problems required to be fixed with the help of IT. As a PS you will mainly deal with the systems, being almost just an assistant. However, as I wrote above, nothing works the first time correctly. It means the huge part of your work depends on IT support. If you are delegated some real and interesting activities or not depends on your global and regional project managers.
