Pay is pretty good considering the staff is largely college students. Commission on sales fattens your paycheck if you're willing to work for it. It's a new company built from the ground up in a relatively short period of time, so I imagine there's room for advancement.

Extremely stressful work. No transparency, for employees or customers. No respect for your availability. They'll drag you to work at 3-4 AM whenever possible. The peaked-in-high-school crowd are ridiculously competitive and defensive of their statuses, to the point where grown men fight over seats...which aren't assigned. If Quality Assurance isn't on your phone line listening to you and interrupting you mid-call, one of several managers will probably be hovering over you and breathing down your neck. Paired with the depressing gray office crammed with cubicles, it feels like you're in Orwell's 1984. Most customers fit into three categories: 1) Old people who think "free trial" means free sample and don't want to give you their credit card number 2) Creepy men who call off the commercials for male enhancement pills 3) People who wrongly assume the products are any good and make you wish you weren't helping to steal their money. When an older man with a comatose wife and a stroke-victim with an audible stutter bought the same brain vitamins in hopes of curing their conditions, I decided it was time to leave.
