All their decisions they make are contingent on sales deals which require IMMENSE amounts of custom work and the client can back out at any moment. So when the tool ends up not working and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of work has been done they have to lay people off. They need to start caring about their employees or they'll never be successful. Wave after wave of layoffs isn't a good look.
