The MD (UK) made it clear during the induction and at a 'welcome speech,' that we were expendable. He was then promoted and left. Meantime, micro-management and a weak HR meant that it was impossible to escalate issues and when eventually I did share my concerns with HR it was too late. Since then the company has made a lot of redundancies with only those supporting clients directly being kept on. No surprise it was alot of noise, smoke and mirrors and boasts about how great the company was when actually behind the scenes the systems, the over-complex processes, the neverending overcomplicated training program, which sounded great but in fact stopped performance which meant getting told off! I along with others were constantly afraid of losing our jobs (which happened anyway!). In one team alone everyone had been off sick at one time or another. Stress overload! glad to be out of there!
