Possibility of being recognized and awarded for your hard work if you speak up for it. Decent benefits, decent pay (if you know what is out on the market). There are good people here, some not all.

While TD would like to claim they are big on Minority support and LGBTA support other types of discrimination is widely practiced. The question is thrown out quite a bit, where do you live, where are you from, etc... If you happen to live or grown up in a poor environment they will be held against you. They expect people who have grown up with a silver spoon to behave a certain way while at the same time they expect people that have grown up poor or in a bad environment to behave like poor people do. This pigeon toes you for the path they seem fit for you and stunts your career. Not all the doors will be open or available for someone that may have been raised or still lives in a poor environment vs people that have not. Ask any minority in the company what type of path they have been offered and ask them if they ever see it possible for them to actually be the deciding owner of that department. Their decisions will always have to be reviewed by some SVP or MD that as far as I can tell are always a NON-Minority.

The management team was supportive, and the branch had a strong team-oriented culture. Because it was a smaller branch, employees had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, collaborate across roles, and learn from one another. Team members regularly shared ideas, provided constructive feedback, and supported each other's professional growth, creating a positive and rewarding work environment.

The main areas for improvement would be compensation and scheduling flexibility. At the time, I felt the pay was somewhat low relative to my previous leadership experience in retail management. While compensation may be competitive for some entry-level banking roles, I would have appreciated a stronger alignment between pay and prior supervisory experience. Aside from that, my decision to leave was based on pursuing a different career path rather than any issues with the company itself. TD Bank offers a professional work environment, supportive teams, and valuable opportunities for growth and development within the banking industry.
