Vantaggi

TE has very deep pockets, which means if you need something to launch a project the cash is available they tend not to cut corners. Can be very proactive when addressing molding issues, can be supportive when dealing with customers as they have enough size and clout to push back if needed. Very good supporting Dept.'s some of the best tooling and maint. rescores I have had available (internally) Good benefits Good salary Good bonuses, when the sales are good. In addition to the structured bonuses they have performance bonuses (spot bonus, & Impact bonuses) the latter can be very lucrative. Large company lots of opportunity, travel, can be very exciting and fun as long as you can deal with the aggressive project time lines

Svantaggi

Of course it is Automotive so the company is very sensitive to swings in the economy. Can have some favoritism as plants and people have been consolidated or reorganized Can be stressful if you don't keep things in perspective and roll with the flow. Because the company employ's over 75,000 folks HR tends to be a little inhuman at times

Vantaggi

Broadly a good company if you’re in a senior decision making role.

Svantaggi

HR policies are words only. Years go by without ability to take any PTO and carry over not allowed. Friday afternoons, all HR US employees stop working with all others working past normal business hours and into the weekend including late Friday asks to complete an action by Monday 8:00 AM that was known earlier in the week but only communicated to the employee after Friday business hours. Every Friday. Onboarding structure / sink or swim approach, no training. No sense of belonging unless you’ve worked here 20 years plus. No growth or development opportunities unless tapped on the shoulder. Many openings are never published, again tapped on the shoulder approach despite offering to volunteer. Dismissive company culture. Every Voice Counts initiative is code for: if you do share your voice, you are on a list to not consider for promotion or any projects that would give you more visibility across the organization to foster one’s growth.
