Vantaggi
Great training that will lead to success in any type of sales, etc. The entire office will also critique you on almost every activity you perform so you get pretty accustomed to accepting criticism and also positive feedback; the amount of cold calling and lengthy in-person meetings with strangers will also make you totally unafraid to perform the functions of the job which are often fairly uncomfortable. You can make a LOT of money doing this job, which is a pro for sure, but for me, this pro came with more negatives than other positives
Svantaggi
No work life balance. They consistently tell you that a work life balance is very important to them, but the necessities to perform the job at a level that will actually make you the type of money you are seeking (and keep you employed) make it impossible to have any type of work life balance. I worked about 65 hours a week. I found several "key players" in our office fairly if not mostly unethical in their dealings. It was very frustrating, and the whole team is consistently trying to indoctrinate you into their "company" so to bring it up is not well received. There were some straight shooting people in the office, but they were not popular among the rest of the office for the most part.
