To this day I’m still in shock at what I experienced during my time with the SMB area of this business. The way my direct leader behaved and spoke to me & others I found appalling. I felt disrespected, unappreciated, demoralized, embarrassed, and disposable. The lack of self awareness and humanity I observed in leadership was extremely concerning. I believe there is a strong focus on leading through fear rather than respect. As a people leader, the way I was expected to treat and speak to my direct reports made me extremely uncomfortable. I left for my own wellbeing and couldn’t be happier that I did.
