Where to even begin... let's start with the really terrible micromanagement and passive aggressive directors. They dump unnecessary workloads onto you that shouldn't be your responsibility, and they will continue to pile on the work despite you voicing your concerns about it exceeding your bandwidth. They force their employees to come into the office during a pandemic several times a week when there's very CLEAR hesitation about getting sick. Mind you, this office has been shut down several times due to many employees testing positive for COVID. They don't care and are extremely tone deaf to what's going on in the world. There's painfully obvious turnover in the pub department - most people did not even make it a year. HUGE favoritism only towards Israelis, and the CEO hires a majority of his employees who have no real experience pertaining to their roles just because they are Israeli. Non inclusive to other minorities, especially anyone that's of any other middle eastern descent. Toxic work culture, no work life balance, they expect you to respond to emails and chats at all hours of the day, throw last minute meetings on your calendar before/after working hours, and constantly ask for updates on things they already know the answers to or is just busy work. They also typically exceed 10-15 hours of meetings per week causing burnout and lack of motivation/time to get anything else done. No flexible vacation policies - only give a max of up to 2 weeks per year (and that's not including sick days. they expect you to use your very minimal PTO for sick days). My team and I were told we should be weary of taking vacation so soon after our start dates - especially because we were new and it was a busy period. Meanwhile, the directors were allowed to take weeks of PTO while an entirely new team had to scramble to figure everything out themselves. One of the directors once said if we're not traveling abroad for vacation then we should still be online to check on emails....... Definitely don't think they care for anyone who's in a 'lower' position on the scale. The pay is insanely low for the adtech industry and there's zero room for growth. You could easily get a much higher salary anywhere else in the tech industry for less stress. It's not worth it in my opinion . This place is a joke serving clickbait 'content recommendations' to consumers, trying to pretend they're of a grander stature than what they truly are. Products are uninspired, outdated, and glitchy - and the solutions teams are outsourced from Israel/India so you never hear back from them in a timely manner. Then you end up doing their work for them on top of everything else!!! Gross, toxic environment with terrible directors who don't know how to boost morale or even manage a team together. Honestly i'm really curious to know how they even got the positions they're in because this literally would not fly anywhere else - super unprofessional company. Would never ever refer anyone to work here.

If you do not feel comfortable doing so, there is an internal anonymous channel that Taboolars can use to report any inappropriate statements or actions they encounter within the Taboola community based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, disability, or other demographic. We wanted to correct a few things mentioned in your review: 1-We take the health and safety of our employees very seriously, and follow local laws and regulations as far as the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned. Employees are not and have not been forced to come into the New York office at any time during the Covid-19 pandemic. Employees and visitors to the New York office must show proof of vaccination, wear masks in the office, and are asked to stay home if they are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive. 2-Taboola is a global company, so those working with teams in other countries or in client-facing roles may on occasion have to shift their working hours to collaborate with their overseas colleagues. It is a fast-paced environment, and while we do expect Taboolars to work hard, we also believe in a healthy work/life balance, and encourage our employees to take time away from the office. 3-Our PTO policy starts at three weeks a year, not two. As of 2022, it has been expanded. Employees now have flexibility as far as PTO, with most choosing 3-5+ weeks per year to recharge and spend time with loved ones.

1. Generous benefits, pay is not too bad for someone new to the industry. 2. beautiful working space full of food, snacks, drinks, etc 3. Basically, the corporate want to make sure you are comfortable at work and have all the required gadgets 4. CEO is ambitious, highly involved, and actively seeking out new directions for the company instead of sitting on the native market they already dominated

1. Your personal experiences are highly related to the team you are on. 2. Some managers, who I am not sure if this is a culture or langauge issues, often sound condescending. Whenever you ask questions, instead of providing instruction, they will use rhetorical questions and leave you even more confused. Some like to blow things out of proportion when they disagree with your work. 3. Sending work messages 24/7 for nonurgent issues every day, even if you say 'not expecting you to reply,' is still pressure, especially coming from your direct manager. 4. The company pays hella amount of attention to their online reviews. They have people rolling out a food cart to encourage people leave comments/reviews online. I see this as both good and bad. Good because the employer does care about employee feedback, at least seemingly. Bad because you only need to PR this hard when things are not doing good. 5. Mandatory days at the office are Mon, Tues, and Thursday instead of letting you choose the days. Make you feel like a kindergarten kid when you have such limited freedom for your own schedule. 6. Toxic behaviors are tolerated
