This was a great company with the old owner. A very family oriented company. But I heard from former co-workers that this is not the case now.

Now that the old owner has sold the company, the culture has changed and is not a good place to work at anymore.

I have been working for Tactair Fluid Controls Inc. for nearly 10 years and I have witnessed a tremendous amount of growth in the last 2 years. In addition to financial growth, there has been a renewed investment in employee development and additional opportunity for personal growth and advancement within the company. The culture is action and team oriented with emphasis on personal ownership of the business. Management is committed toward advancing the company. Additionally, as Tactair produces complex hydraulic and pneumatic controls for the aerospace market, the product and manufacturing processes are complex and interesting.

Svantaggi

The company made a transition from private to public in 2016 and there has been an adjustment period. However, as a result of business process and organizational adjustments, Tactair has experienced business growth during the transition.

160 hours of PTO and generally good benefits.

They literally break the law on several fronts. Sexual harassment from the very highest level. Super low morale and it’s not even a topic. Employees in constant fear of their position and/or retaliation. Upper management provides no clear expectations and are very “bro” clicked up. No communication unless it’s disciplinary. No clear path for process improvement and the set schedule is for reference only. If you do take a position, maintain a concrete copy of emails and document EVERYTHING. A typical corporate scenario of 1-5 scale on reviews but “nobody gets a five”.
