1. Lots to do: Company is busy, they have a lot of work coming in and in the pipeline. 2. Management style and communication: Open communication, transparency and one on one discussions with employees about concerns and goals. 3. Talented people: People are great at what they're doing and will help you out if you're curious, willing to work hard and learn. 4. Work life balance: Cannot stress enough how great this is. Everyone is hourly, so the flex schedule helps. Plus, everyone works with each other's schedules, which lessens conflict during project management. 5. Independence: You're in charge of your own schedule and workload here, and you decide what hours you work. 6. But best of all: They value you as a person, not an asset. Shocking, I know.

It's a small company with big goals, and while that's great, it does mean you can get overworked at times. Also, I wish they took on more exciting projects outside of Central NY, especially neighboring states, if not specifically NYC.
