Work atmosphere is friendly and positive. I feel welcome, and I'm pretty confident my work is valued here. My schedule is busy, but my tasks are interesting and challenging. At Tandem, I have learned how important it is to have a healthy work-life balance if I want to work productively.

Minor cons may be pointed out, but there are no major cons that affect my efficiency and success.

Great environment with flexibility and opportunity to grow. Great policies and benefits for all employees. A great opportunity to craft my career on both the sales side and operations side of the Logistics industry. When something does not work or if you have ideas for improvement with internal processes, your suggestions are passed to the right people and quickly implemented. Both the President and Director of Operations answer my questions and are giving me the right tools to advance my career. Love the Open door and transparent culture. This is a Brokerage Sales job, it is not for the meek or weak minded individuals, it is not for the people who call out sick and want a free pass, if you want a true challenge that challenges you day in and day out, that gives you an above industry standard compensation package, come work for Tandem. We love aggressive, hardworking, like-minded individuals. I know I made the right choice when I decided to come to work for Tandem Logistics. The team culture that Phil and Mark have created is something special. They know things can get tense during negotiations so they help relieve stress by playing funny games, taking us to happy hour regularly, as well as drinks in house on Fridays!

It's tough at first. but just stick tough. Once you get the hang of negotiations it becomes SO much fun! Which also translates into your life outside of the office. You won't get bamboozled or over pay for an item/service again.
