It can be hard to learn that you can't please everyone, and sometimes overhearing from team members that they aren't all happy with certain decisions can be discouraging. It requires a lot of effort and time to do this job well, so be prepared. If you don't feel like you have a very good leadership team at your specific location, I could see this job being even more difficult.
