Poorly managed business - Recensione dipendente - Target Security presso Target

Felt like I was back in middle school with the cliques that were present in leadership. Store leadership is not engaged - just biding time to transfer to a corporate position. HR never available and then very one-sided depending if you were one of the “favorable” people to that individual. I was chastised for reporting safety and security issues throughout the store including finding syringes in the restroom. Employees flagrantly violated safety rules by climbing onto baler, on flatbed carts, improper use of ladders, etc and leadership turned a blind eye. Other Security staff spent the day in the office watching football, fights, excessive tardiness and absences and I called off once in 10.5 months. They do not like to take advice or suggestions from non-leaders.
