There's are plenty of risk averse people to stifle new innovation. There are good people there, but if you don't please or work well with the right people, you will not be successful. If you are able to take opportunities, aggressively stand for your point of view, and talk about how successful you are, you'll have a chance to be paid well and travel the world.
