*Defective appraisal system. You would come to know of the comments keyed in by your supervisor only at the time receiving the rating. The laddering excercise is completely opaque. Supervisor would have given "Consistent" rating but will come to know that his/her is rated as "Lagging" only after the release of rating. The grievance mechanism is a complete eye wash. The supervisor is not involved in grievance resolution workflow. Business Unit Leads who are the owners of appraisal of an employee in their BU just listen to their trusted side kicks to reserve good rating to employees loyal to them. *Managers have no lever available to get better performance from their team members as they cannot even recommend promotion or salary raise to high performers. *Old timers keep getting extensions beyond their retirement age *Many leaders are resting on past laurels. *Employees are forced to work on multiple projects without any benefit *Salary raise, if any, are around 1 to 2% *Business Unit Leads are a law onto themselves *There is no concept of Mark-to-Market Salary either for new comers or for tenured employees
