Vantaggi
1) The only pro especially if you are working in the retention process is the 'chance' to earn a good incentive. I've had a chance to earn really good incentive maybe once or twice but that is it don't expect it to be a continuous thing and do not expect the management to let you earn that incentive in any way possible.
Svantaggi
1) To begin with the company does not allow you a bio break. YES THAT IS TRUE. in 10hrs of shift you don't even have 10 mins of a nio break anywhere in the roster. But you are expected to take these breaks only when you are rostered to take a break in the breakdown of 15-15-30 that too changes each day and can strect as long as 3.5 hrs between the two breaks. I mean are we employee not a human being that you can't even rosted 10 mins for a bio break. Being a female e,ployee imagine how those dynamics work on difficult days. 2) Company does not have a policy for sick leave at all. If you are absent for any reason be that illness or emergency or personal reasons you are marked UL for that day and also get a 50% deductions on your monthly incentives. I've literally seen people coughing badly while on calls and still reporting to work although they should be resting and taking care of themselves but just because company won't even allow you a sick day without any deductions in your income drags those people to office and not only bad for them but someone sitting next to them is now going to be falling sick. 3) If you are stuck on call and it happens to extend beyond your scheduled break then you are not supposed to take that break at all, because if you do you're not following the schedule adherence and thus impacting your monthly commission. And managers have the audacity to tell you that if this is repeated then it is your behaviour issue but nothing to do with the fact that the calls are getting extended and not you deliberately missing your breaks. They say manage your calls accordingly which in other words either toggle to take that break on the specific time or disconnect the call if it is not getting over soon or extend the call till your break time and wrap it up right about there. So there is no ethical way left for you to take your break on time(remember you don't even have a bio break in roster). And at the end your data is your responsibility and company has smartly made you not meet that so that they can comfortably steal your earned incentive easily. 4) If you get a complaints call you cannot transfer that call to complaints because you have to take permission from your floor manager first who are never there to speak to and somehow you are responsible for that call which is not even your skillset. If anything goes wrong on it all hell breaks on you ignoring the fact that a manager was not present to take over the call or to approve your request. Overall the company os just there to suck your blood and suck customer/clients blood as well. 5) There is facility or central cloud database to check your own incentive earnings at all. I mean the whole process is commercial and the reason people are coming to the office even when they are sick to death is the INCENTIVE and there is no central database to access these details. I mean management is an utter joke if they cannot provide your performance data to you. How is anyone going to improve if they cannot see? There is no proper feedback/coaching session either so you are left all guessing what went wrong and just hope so not to follow a pattern which may or may not have been responsible. 6) Not a single manager is helpful, and not to say they are all involved in all types of office politics, favoritism, and a "collogues with benefits" kind of environment, which is awful and disgraceful for such a known brand. Moreover, such a thing is somehow supported and entertained by top management, which is again an utter shame. 7) You will be penalized for a flaw in the process itself—not your fault but a total process fault—yet you suffer the outcome. And yes, not to forget the customer using their services. Your entire incentive is down the drain because of the process defect, and whatever you worked for the entire month is gone in a whip. Sad part is there is no remedial action for it simply hacking your incentive is the only way left for them to make you suffer even more. They do not reimburse for your travel or your internet which you are paying for the work-related activities and have no shame in saying "You'll earn so much incentive why do you need reimbursement" Really? INCENTIVES I worked for are earned by me that does not mean I should not be reimbursed for company travel and other expenses that are work-related. 8) They promise WFH after the training is completed and this is told when you are getting interviewed by HR in the hiring stages. But the sad truth is you don't get that you have to fight for it your TM will not give WFH unless he/she feels like doing it. And even if you get that they revoke it from you will hand over that very system to another new hire who was hired under the same pretext and force you to work from the office. It is a joke if you don't have enough systems for WFH advisors then don't tell them something that is not true in the first place. One of my colleagues joined Tech Mahindra as she was guaranteed WFH after 3 months of training which she needed as she had a baby to take care of back home and WFH was perfect for her but she was literally crying after coming to the office regularly for 6 months and managing her child god knows how still not given WFH. The poor fellow had to leave her job at last. THE COMPANY GIVES ALL FAKE PROMISES GUYS. 9) There is no growth at all. My mentor who was working in Tech Mahindra was at the same level for the last 9 YEARS. Upon asking why the same position for so long the only answer was that he used to earn a good amount of incentives and he has been trying to become a TM but office politics is not letting him. I mean a good hardworking employee is nobody if he /she is not your favorite. This is the poor state of growth in this company, 10) If you decide to resign ideally you are supposed to serve at least 30 days' notice. But the management forces you to take an early exit by giving one day's resignation and on top of that makes you write a resignation email on webex call which they record and will dictate the exact sentences and words to use in that resignation email so that the company is no more liable to pay for the notice period and also if any incentives earned in this period forget about that. They are ready to get rid of you before you are. 10) There are no policies that are designed for the employees. Everything is just against you. KPIs and Incentive structure is designed in a way that only a handful can get some pennies rest are just left for drying. The Client is also to be blamed for no wonder the customers who are using their services are taking a Class Action Against them which for the fact client is royally losing and hence there is huge cost-cutting going on by firing experienced staff and hiring new freshers at a low cost. Anyone joining please look for something better. 11) WORST EMPLOYER EVER!!!!!
