Vantaggi
- Impactful work, depending on your project - Remote, but depending on the project, your lead might expect you to be immediately responsive at all times.
Svantaggi
- Relatives and friends tend to be promoted over others. Performance is not measured or tracked, leaving leads room to base their scarce reporting on personal opinion. Opportunities are given only to a chosen few; this is never done with transparency or open communication. Leadership rewards flattery instead of actual output by each individual contributor. The environment is very secretive, performative, and cliquey. Case in point, not all team members were even invited to the company holiday party. - Human Resources does not communicate HUMANELY. Treats employees with questions like problems or nuisances. It's HR’s job to be a resource for the humans that work at your company. - Work done is worth more than the value shown through treatment or salary. - Those who work hard are punished with more work; those who task mask often go unnoticed, damaging team morale and trust in the process. - Only had one performance review with management during my entire time at TSPi. The conversation was vague and did not help my professional or personal development. - There is a lot of gossip and posturing at the leadership level, which inevitably seeps into the ears of anyone actually paying attention. Chit chat at the beginning of all-hands meetings amongst leadership is unprofessional and immature. - TSPi was not communicative during off-boarding process. Received an email the second to last day, stating they would be closely involved with the off-boarding process like they were with onboarding. Neither process was smooth, supportive, or involved. - Individual contributors are siloed in their projects without encouragement for connection with others in similar roles at the company (on other projects). - There simply is not much room to grow at this company and a lot of funding has been lost this year.
