There aren't a lot of pros for working at Techstars. It's a dog-eat-dog environment where the senior leadership is inwardly focused. I worked at the headquarters and found it to be one of the worst places I've worked in my entire life. They talk a big game externally - but internally the company is a huge mess with infighting, culture clashes and a focus on growth at all costs - even if it means lying to customers.

The high travel frequency can disrupt work-life balance, and resource constraints sometimes lead to employees handling multiple roles with limited support. While it offers significant professional growth, the intensity and expectations are not be ideal, even for people who are highly driven and capable.
