The most concerning aspect of the company is the clear lack of leadership. Tecovas cannot be agile and make decisions. The leadership team bickers and does not present a unified team or even share the same goals. Each department is fighting for itself and its individual interests without a present leader to guide the company holistically. We've experienced "death by a thousand cuts" with riffs and individuals being laid off almost weekly. HR lacks authority over people processes and layoffs. Employee engagement surveys are taken biannually and are not shared with the team in a timely manner nor has any action been put in place to address the concerns of the company. The culture is at an all-time low and leadership points the finger at a lack of company happy hours and slashed budgets. Lastly, no 401K match even though employees consistently ask for it year after year as the most impactful benefit. I would not recommend someone join this team in its current state.
