I met some of the brightest Engineers working at Tejas. As a Project Engineer, I was given full authority of a new product design, which I really appreciated. Had I stumbled, or needed any additional oilfield insight, there was always an open office door to someone with decades of industry specific knowledge. Catered food daily, stocked beverage fridge, and an automatic espresso machine round out the perks.

Like any oil industry company, Tejas succumbed to a declining market, and was forced to reduce staff. Tejas was not fully transparent to employees with the financials. Work/life balance was expected to lean toward work.

Tejas is one of the best companies I have worked for in years. Excellent benefits, holidays, quarterly bonuses, paid time off, exceptional and friendly coworkers and plenty of room for personal growth. Tejas is the only company who gave me a chance to change career paths by actually looking at my skills that I could bring to the company and not just my previous work history and education. This is the first job that I have had in a very long time that I actually look forward to going to every day and giving it 110% of my effort. Everyone that I work with from the technicians to the CEO of the company are extremely friendly and willing to take the time to get to know you and share their experiences and knowledge of the industry, and are willing to help you in any way needed. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the future and growth with Tejas.

No negatives that come to mind. Only thing the company needs now is going to be a larger facility to accommodate the growth that it is experiencing.
