- Clueless senior leadership. No direction, no strategy, wildly inefficient processes, complete lack of communication, hostility between leaders of different teams - Most managers are so incompetent and underqualified that teaching them the basics of your domain will become your second job. Micro-management is the norm, so be ready to be infantilized if you want to work here - Culture is toxic and the vibe is somewhere between frat house and junior high. - "Leaders" at this company love to preach about work-life balance, but will laugh in your face if you attempt to take any time off - Nepotism and favoritism galore. Failing upwards is so common it's almost a joke. Perpetuates the toxic culture of yay-sayers who have no original ideas and/or subject matter expertise get away with disrespectful behavior, just because they are yay-sayers to leadership. They act like there are no consequences to their poor behavior, because well, there isn't. - Pay is WAY BELOW the market, and there is NO 401K match. - No real performance review system (for a company claiming to be data-driven, you will be shocked at the lack of any quantitive basis and measurable metrics) - Regardless of how great your performance might be, be prepared to get ZERO % raise. - You will have super smart but totally burnt out, jaded colleagues. Overall morale is shockingly low. Gloomy environment. - Talent retention is not something this company is interested in. 8 people (who I directly knew) left within the span of a year. This not only destroys morale, but it's a horrible look to the clients. They do notice, and they are losing trust in Tempus.
