Lots of challenges exist that look to get worse in the future. Work has become more mixed with fewer pure/high quality project types. Hours are on the tougher-end of professional services. Company's reputation is primarily in PR/restructuring (e.g. FTI) and not consulting. Diversity, particularly in terms of employee turnover, has been poor to date. Management during COVID should have been better, with some colleagues losing their jobs unnecessarily. Recent hiring choices have diluted the quality of the team. Acquisitions and investment have prioritised growth over focus leading to some wonky outcomes. Most investments have not been in areas that are relevant to management consulting. USA is very disconnected from the international business. Lots of upcoming work required to steady the ship and integrate.
