My experience has been that my co-workers are fairly happy and always friendly. TWC has allowed Division Directors to determine whether staff may continue working at home, based on work needs, and continued productivity. Communication tools (TEAMS- with chat, plus email and video or audio-only meetings allows for collaboration and communication with co-workers. TWC now includes Vocational Rehab, so there is more emphasis on accessibility fo the disabled, even though not all staff are aware of it. VR still operates largely separately, administratively, but the VR division leader is incredibly progressive about making needed changes to improve customer experience. Employees are encouraged by the (ratings system)to go above and beyond, so long as they can do so without compromising the quality of their core job duties. Paid health insurance, longer term employees get deeply discounted health insurance in retirement.

TWC tends to delegate a lot of control, which is good, but some managers are better than others. This also means there are not as many bureaucratic/organization-wide policies and procedures so there is room for improvement in some areas. Being government salaries will be lower than private sector.
