No career path No promotions No raises Poor employee retention; high turnover Very slow hiring process The only way to move up is to apply for higher positions. That hiring process takes time and resources. When someone switches jobs that leads to another opening. Everyone is constantly reshuffling positions. Work culture is rigid and overly self-serious at the agency level, although there can be more camaraderie at the lower team level depending on management. Too many levels of hierarchical, controlling leadership. The process to get things approved is slow and laborious and projects are constantly late.
