Development programs put great emphasis on growing leaders within the company. This was the best company I've worked at in terms of investing in its staff's development Regular communication from senior management lets employees at all levels have a sense of the company's overall strategy. Company messaging is positive and tries to emphasize the company's role in improving health and well-being.

Svantaggi

The company is very large and very spread out. They do a good job at making people feel part of smaller groups within the company, but obviously it's still difficult with 30,000+ employees Cigna tends to change course a lot.

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
