Vantaggi

Good benefits and job satisfaction. Great if you are a female or a nurse or have a behavioral health degree. However, If you are white male, have an exercise science degree, and a masters degree - good luck keeping your job. And if you try to transition into talent or hr - do not hold your breath if you live anywhere in the Midwest. Pretty sad career growth opportunities.

Svantaggi

Seemed like good job stability. Until you are laid off after nearly 10 years as a top performer with top metrics. I was a manager with a masters degree. you are a male and white. Their diversity and inclusion initiatives are a joke. Yes, I am a white male and that is what the box checks. The rest of the story is I have two adopted black boys. Your diversity box does not account for my family or the kind of human I am.

Vantaggi

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Svantaggi

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
