Small company where you can easily meet everyone that works there. Easy to talk to Senior Management. Quick responses from Human Resources. Banks have set hours, but the management is very amenable to working needs and time off. Many sponsored services and activities offered outside of work to the employees from the company.

Pay increases are minimal. Very little opportunity to advance unless you are employed here for many years. Changes and suggestions are very slow to happen. Shadowing opportunities are hard to come by. Very little accountability from upper management to follow government guidelines (aka - Do as I say, not as I do)

This is a negative post

I was interviewed for one position with The Community Bank for a Banker and Account Opening position. I completed the interview and everything seemed good. I received a follow up call and was told that the position was being reworked and, despite the fact that I interviewed amazingly, I was not selected because I do not have the experience with loans and opening accounts. Something that I am more than willing to learn. I was bait and switched from a position that is close to my home for a good pay, to a position 45 minuets away for far less pay.
