Learn sales, inside and out, truly get to develop sales skills. See the world, this is the biggest benefit to me, not just see the world, but live in each country and work there - I lived in 6 countries for 4 months each.

Rejection of sales is tough, staying positive through the no's; cold calling is difficult. Sometimes hard to get a hold of my mananger due to time change.

There are no pros, everything your recruiter tells you is different than what truly happens. I'm glad I had this experience to know what I DONT want in a job and I wouldn't take back the friendships I made. I could never work here.

The recruiters mislead us. They don't actually pay for your hotels, you have to barter them. This is actually modern day colonialism, if you feel comfortable lying to companies on "behalf of the government" sign up! If you have any morals, STAY AWAY. Last month four people quit on a project that had five people on it. There were well over 20 people in my "training" group and less than 10 actually got a job offer. People were told they didn't get hired because they were too powerful, not powerful enough, had too many morals, weren't nice enough, were too nice. The people who work there (for the most part, some of them I will admit were complete sweethearts) are arrogant and disgustingly insecure, which was evident through them constantly having to tell everyone how awesome they were. Let your skills speak for themselves and keep your big mouth shut PLEASE. Aside from that, I have worked in publishing previously and these were the cheapest looking magazines I have ever seen in my life. Also, the pay is terrible.
