The Executive Director is often referred to as "intense"; that is just code for RUDE! Because she is a co-founder of the organization she feels that justifies her bad behavior and micro-management style. Staff turnover is unprecedented, even for a nonprofit organization, especially in the development department. The executive director seems to believe that this success is due solely to her efforts. What is an essential component to the success of this organization is that the executive director comes from wealth and her friends and contacts have financially ensured the success of the organization. The organization would not be the success it is if it were not for them.
