Vantaggi

TST offers full time, part time, and contract positions. If you're the type of person who wants to do hands on PR work, this is the place for you! You'll get to work with a variety of accounts and be part of both strategic and tactical processes. Lots of exposure and opportunity to build your skills while connecting directly with clients.

Svantaggi

Tech PR is different than traditional or corporate PR. The industry is fast paced and can be high stress at times. Some clients can require more hands-on support than others. You'll be expected to generate your own ideas, craft pitches, etc. You may need to switch tasks quickly to accommodate client requests or industry changes. You'll also be working directly with clients and should be prepared for weekly calls and async communication in between. If you are not comfortable generating ideas, quickly switching tasks or strategy, or communicating with clients, this may not be the industry for you.

Vantaggi

Individuals can learn a lot about the public relations industry. By working at the establishment you can also gain knowledge about starting your own company, using crowdfunding and media outreach.

Svantaggi

Unprofessional work environment. The company had no sense of management and pulled its employees in every direction it could. I felt uncomfortable asking questions or asking for help.

This employee was let go because they did not possess the level of skill required for the job as claimed in their interview process. This person has no idea about the agency employment history and made poor assumptions. The average employee has had a min of 1 year, normal in a small agency environment. The longest employee at 2+ years, an employee who later returned as a freelancer. This is a very unprofessional follow up to being let go.
