Vantaggi

Compensation: - Competitive quarterly and discretionary bonuses - Strong starting salary that increases rapidly as you progress - Everyone gets a paid opportunity to spend 2 weeks in an international office (London/HK/NYC/LA/Shanghai or Mumbai) after 18months and 1 month after 24months - They will pay for you to do your CFA or other financial qualifications, and also pay for qualifications that increase your "well-roundedness" such as PT courses, language lessons or even painting classes - Free private healthcare - Summer Fridays - Client lunches or visits monthly - Monthly budget for team, vertical or office socials - Drinks and snacks every Friday - Breakfast and snacks provided daily - Free Sanctus Mental Health Coach Company & Career Development: Reading through some of these disgruntled reviews, is pretty frustrating and I would urge readers to remember the majority of people who write reviews have had an extreme experience (positive or negative). I think one of the hardest things the industry is having to deal with is that this is not your traditional role, you did not grow up with a burning desire to work at an Expert Network in the same way that your friends who are Drs or Traders set out on their career path. That being said, the company is dedicated to training and development and the skills you learn will support you in a strong long-term career within Account Management, Operations, Sales, Finance or Investment Banking. From Day 1 right through to VP you will have monthly training sessions on both hard skills (client management, communication, understanding investments, presentations) but also soft skills (Emotional Intelligence, understanding how to manage based on personality, Leadership skills, problem solving skills). The company are invested in their people and are constantly trying to enhance their training. The main thing to remember is, Third Bridge can teach you how to do something, but it is up to the employee to apply it. After leaving university, it has been the best first job I could've asked for, I have jumped at every opportunity and amazed at how far I have developed professionally and personally. I have managed a global portfolio of accounts, managed 25+ people on high-revenue projects, run training sessions, presented on industries to 30+ people and visited clients internationally.

Svantaggi

The jump from Analyst to Associate salary is not big enough. You will often be training a pegged person who earns marginally less than you. Due to the nature of client-service, there will often times where you have to work outside of core working hours. The real Account Managers are the researchers, the AM function is more of a support role for the research team but their titles sound better and undermine the value of the researchers. Bonuses can really vary from vertical to vertical. Targets don't take into consideration holiday or sick leave

Vantaggi

Good entry-level opportunity with exposure to fast-paced, client-facing work. The company hires driven, sociable individuals and can be a strong starting point for building communication, prioritization, and execution skills in a high-performance environment.

Svantaggi

High turnover and inconsistent management quality significantly impact the employee experience. Success is heavily dependent on your team lead and manager, with limited recourse if you’re placed under ineffective leadership. In my experience, poor communication, lack of emotional intelligence, and unclear expectations from management made it difficult to succeed and negatively affected day-to-day productivity. Internal processes around performance management and PTO lacked transparency. I was placed on a PIP and terminated shortly after (within a week) in a way that felt abrupt and not aligned with prior communication, which was initially framed as a discussion around pending PTO. There were also delays in PTO approvals, and I experienced issues with compensation adjustments following a promotion that required follow-up to resolve.
