There are a lot of great people within this business who want to do well.

A bit of a cowboy approach to business. CEO/owner has had a few of the same staff members under her wing since the beginning and has promoted them into senior management roles with no experience. Hires and promotions are often based off who is friends with the CEO or who looks like an ‘it girl’. A business that is very quick to dismiss HR or any genuine employee concerns and doesn’t invest in a proper work culture. There is no pay structure and pay rises are given out only when people threaten to leave. Inexperienced employees could be earning 100k and doing barely any work but will still be praised if they are keeping up appearances. Conditions for warehouse staff are poor and they are often looked down on by the rest of the company. Quite toxic.

Great Staff discount, friendly teams

Very toxic work environment. The words “we are a family” are often thrown around internally (IYKYK). Unrealistic expectations of workloads. Business comes first over staffs mental health, will run all staff to the ground until they feel burnt out and eventually leave. Leave requests are never approved unless you beg for them (even then sometimes still not approved), adding to the feeling of being burnt out and resentment. Large business still running as a startup.
