Internal advancement available, good market competitive pay, open to new technology and tools, nice company grounds, nice location. Willing to invest in good software and hardware tools (mostly). Company managers know what is lacking and are actively working on improving any issues. Company wants to make good high quality products.

Massive growing pains, nothing any company in the same position would not have. The company is having to transition from a very small company (<15) to a much larger one (~90) in 3 years which requires more layers, red tape, and documented procedures and policies. Internal procedures and documentation is still a work in progress which can cause miscommunications and slows down getting things done.

Tolteq has been in business for a while and offers a stable job in an unstable industry. There are many great people to work with and learn from. Most employees are team players and eager to help. The medical and dental benefits are acceptable for a company this size and they match 4% of your 401K contributions. They are located on a large piece of land with a jogging trail, disc golf course, and outdoor kitchen area.

Employee retention and morale is the worst I've experienced in any company. The HR manager does not appear to understand the importance of employee retention and is quick to dismiss employee suggestions that might actually make the company a better place to work. Tolteq lacks focus and direction which sometimes creates a chaotic work environment. Lack of communication between departments is a serious problem. The business development side of the company often makes arbitrary decisions without seeking input from the engineering team. This makes it difficult to provide customers with a quality experience.
