      I have been working for Toptal for a few months now and I am beyond happy with my choice to join Toptal. For those who appreciate their time and want to retain freedom and flexibility, working for Toptal is the way to do so. I, in particular, am more motivated to dedicate 110% of myself to work when I have ability to run my errands in the middle of the day or just take a walk or hit the gym in between my interviews.

      Toptal might be difficult for those who are not great in self-discipline and with regular office mindset, in terms that you get work done once supervised and limited by strict deadlines. In Toptal, supervision is minimal and you are responsible for organizing and executing daily tasks.

Working remotely at a high level isn't a fit for everyone because it demands a lot: self-discipline, focus, time management skills, and internal drive. On the other hand, working remotely at Toptal gives everyone on our team the autonomy to define and execute on their own terms, in their own time, and from literally anywhere.       Sometimes it can take a bit longer to find a new engagement if you’re looking for opportunities in Asian time zones. In my experience, Europe and the Americas tend to have more opportunities and faster matching.

      Lack of any real industry solutions or capabilities since 100% of delivery services are freelance contractors. Model has been successful as providing staff augmentation to clients, but all intellectual capital and outcomes are owned by the clients or the freelancer. Toptal is simply a staffing platform broker who marks up the freelance talent. Great if you need a plumber, but not if you're planning to build a bathroom.
