Innovation is encourage throughout the company very rarely do I here 'that's now how we used to do it'. -Despite being among the majors, very few people know of Total in the US. Not enough work is being done on brand recognition. -Tight on spending -For as international as Total is, sometimes it does feel overwhelmingly French - especially on a managerial level. Yet the gradual shift from being a French company to a more globally inclusive company is evident and noticeable. I've noticed a more international mix throughout the managerial ranks than before.
