I was asked to delay accepting an external offer based on promises of a permanent role, which was later frozen without notice, leaving me without an offer. Compensation was below market standard, especially considering the workload. The company struggles to retain good talent due to low pay, unclear progression, and a sometimes toxic, favouritism-driven environment.
