Vantaggi

From the perspective of a clinical dietitian, touchpoint could be better however it depends entirely on the location and what your direct manager expects from you. Touchpoint as a company expects dietitians to serve food service needs and does not acknowledge the clinical role of an RD. The further removed your position is from food service the better your experience will be as a clinical RD. If you are working for touchpoint at a smaller hospital, expect some food service involvement. If at a larger hospital you may not be expected to have involvement with food service. I suggest asking about food service involvement in your interview if interviewing with touchpoint. There can be decent opportunity for growth if you do like food service and finance. Good PTO.

Svantaggi

Touchpoint does not acknowledge the role of a clinical RD and focuses greatly on how the RDs can contribute to food service. As a result, the tasks you need to accomplish in order to receive your yearly raise may not make sense in a clinical role, but it has to get done regardless if you want up to a 4% raise. This aspect has been frustrating.

Vantaggi

I liked (most of) my fellow coworkers

Svantaggi

After adjusting for inflation, my raise was a paltry <0.2%. I was told that was actually"very good." This was before it was announced that Touchpoint hit record profits. They also committed flagrant violations of labor law by telling us we weren't allowed to discuss salary amongst each other. Management was very poor during my time there. Lack of clinical knowledge and support made critical staffing periods much harder. We felt micromanaged when everyone was just trying their best. If you stood up for yourself or had a different idea, it was shot down. The morale was low and many people left for better opportunities. KPIs are a waste of time.
